I took mt wife on the Ghost Tour which was an absolute 'rip off' at £25 each, and a waste of an evening. I did this tour some years ago and it was really good. Started with canapes served in the old kitchens in front of a roaring log fire. Girls in Tudor costumes, then they gave us lanterns to carry as we walked through the dark corridors and halls. With the flickering lights, one could easily imagine a ghost at every corner. The current tour is with an ordinary guide, no atmosphere, and cake and coffee in the cafeteria at the end. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL TOUR !!!!!
