Review of Saltash by JG on August 24th, 2010
Very disappointed with Crylla Cottages and cannot understand the good reviews and awards. The noisy/busy A38 road is too close and actually passes over the site, "Valley View Cottages" means views of 40 ft high Leylandii trees and non existent views to rear are of a steep bank a few feet from the windows, childrens toys are mostly broken or missing pieces, gardens to the rear are too steep and not suitable for young people or people with breathing difficulties (which they dont tell you until you get there). You have to drive everywhere from there unless you walk alongside the A38. Sofas and armchairs were stained and dirty. It all looks great on the website, but we were not happy there. Staff are mostly friendly however.
