Great place to go. Cant wait for the pleasure beach to re-open in February. We always stay at Seaforth Guest House, where we can park our car and walk across the road to the fun fair.

I live close to Blackpool and believe it is the best place in UK for holiday - though it's not a cheap option. Plenty to do - the beach, zoo and pleasure beach for great rides in nice weather and great tropical swimming complex, sealife centre, ammusements ( coin operated)all indoors - shopping decent, though lots of shops selling tat. Blackpool lights in sept -great for kids. Could be cleaner, not a lot of healthy eating options, mainly fast food but some decent chippies. Great location for day trips out - The Lakes, Marton Mere Bird Sanctuary, Southport, Liverpool and Manchester to name a few.
