From April to June 2009 the Orleans House Gallery, Richmond upon Thames, is staging an exhibition to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the delivery of Roubiliac‚s statue of Shakespeare to Garrick‚s Temple to Shakespeare on the riverside at nearby Hampton, which set off a decade of Shakespeare celebrations culminating in the first Shakespeare Jubilee at Stratford-upon-Avon.
