for Loweswater Show as your favourite British event.

Loweswater Show is a traditional country show, held annually. This year it is the 138th Show. We have sheep, dogs, horses/ponies/carriage driving, poultry, vintage vehicles, children's games, a huge craft marquee and another equally large marquee for industrial (homemade jams, cakes, breads, arts, photography etc). In addition we have lots of lovely trade sellers, a beer tent with local Loweswater Gold beer in pride of place, a catering marquee plus many other food sellers and Cockermouth Mechanics Band play for us. There is a nationally recognised fell race which is always excellent, hound trails run also and there are nationally recognised sheep dog trials which are great to watch. All in all it is a busy day and one which is very much enjoyed by everyone who attends.
