Kane, who studied English at Middlesex University, like so many comedians found fame via the Edinburgh Fringe. He has, since winning the main award there in 2010, developed a career that takes in presenting on TV – including Big Brother’s Big Mouth and Unzipped - writing a novel and a play, and of course stand up shows.
