BOOK BURNLEY HOTELS

James Anderson
- Favourite Briton.

Born in Burnley, Lancashire
Born on 30th of July 1982
Died in 000

Nicknamed the Burnley Lara, Jimmy Anderson generally contributes more with the ball than the bat, indeed with more than 400 wickets he is England’s all-time leading test wicket taker, as he is in ODIs. There have, though, been highlights with the bat, including a score of 81, the highest ever by an England number 11 and the longest innings ever by any test number 11. He started his career as a genuinely fast bowler with occasionally outrageous haircuts, and developed into a great swing bowler with neat locks, probably for the best sportingly and tonsorially.
