Born 1239. Died 1307 - King of England.
Elder son of Henry III. Called English Justinian for his improvement in efficiency of royal justice. Annexed north and west Wales and tried to unite England and Scotland through marriage of his son. Died near Carlisle during Scottish Wars of Independence.
