Born 1772. Died 1852 - Founder of the Primitive Methodists.
Cut off from the Wesleyan Church in 1808. In 1810 a committee of ten members was formed, founded their first chapel in 1811. Name of Primitive Methodists was adopted in 1812, also called Ranters.
