Wisbech St Mary is a Fenland village in the delightful county of Cambridgeshire, home to nearly three thousand people, its surrounded by beautiful countryside, and is placed on the north bank of the River Nene just three miles from Wisbech. The oldest part of the village clusters around the 14th Century church that is dedicated to St Mary, which has an impressive tower that rises some 64', and houses a clock and five bells, although the church went through much restoration in the 19th century inside will find painted beams and impressive arches. The village has a selection of shops, pubs, fishing lakes and tempting walks on offer.
