Lulworth Cove is a cove near the village of West Lulworth, part of the famous Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site in Dorset. The cove is one of the finest examples of such a landform in the world and attracts over one million visitors a year. Its popularity as a tourist attraction is also affected by its proximity to the famous cliff-arch at Durdle Door as well as other important Jurassic Coast attractions. There are numerous guided boat trips leaving from the cove showing the highlights of the area. Nearby, the Lulworth Estate also has much to offer. Whether you're staying for a day, a week or longer there are attractions to visit, places to stay, stunning walks on the coast and in the countryside, hospitality (private & corporate) and an annual programme of events. Lulworth Castle also stages outdoor musical events in the summer. From 2008 visitors can look forward to Camp Bestival, a new sister project organised by the people that bought you Bestival. Camp Bestival is inspired by the 1950s British Holiday Camp, but with a twist. Mixed in are entertainment of the highest order (including splendid music), the biggest boutique campsite ever, excellent facilities for the outdoor life and a generous sprinkle of Bestival magic.
