Appledore Sails is the only company on the North Cornwall / Devon / Somerset coast which charters skippered sailing boats.
You can privately charter 'Patron', a 31 foot skippered yacht, with a skipper, just for yourselves for a short trip over Bideford Bar, for a day trip to Lundy or Clovelly, for a weekend or longer including trips to Wales, Scillies, or further.
Or we offer shorter trips around the picturesque Torridge Taw Estuary under sail or motor for a couple, family or small group of friends on an Appledore made, two masted traditional style sailing boat 'Jez-y-belle'.
Whether new to sailing or wishing to experience the strong tidal conditions found in the Bristol Channel Appledore Sails hopes its guests will want to join in with sailing the boat, and we aim to provide you with a unique adventure.
