Hoveringham
Hoveringham lies on the northern bank of the river Trent or Trisanton as the medival celts called it. We have a population of 350 people and quite a few animals. Two Public Houses, an farm and country park with a restaurant Our third Public House is now developed into apartments, but the Elm Tree Hotel had quite a history. Three roads comprise the Village and most of the houses line these roads. We are 11 miles from Nottingham and 5 miles from Southwell, Newark is 14 miles away and Mansfield 17 miles. the A46 is over Gunthorpe Bridge and up the hill, then 35 minutes to the M1 south at Leicester.going north on the M1 takes 40 minutes via Linby.
