Welcome to the Lion Hotel at Llanbister, situated in the beautiful countryside of Radnorshire, Mid Wales, which boasts some of the best and unspoilt scenery in Britain. Llanbister is located just off the A483 between Newtown to the north and the Victorian spa towns of Llandrindod Wells and Builth Wells to the south. A short trip to the east you will find the historic towns of Knighton and Presteigne, and to the West Rhayader, The Elan Valley and the beautiful coast of Cardigan bay

We are a family run business and offer you a warm welcome to our Hotel, with selection of beers and beverages, large menu of home cooked food, and quality bed and breakfast accommodation at the Hotel, and we also have two self catering log cabins on the outskirts of the village.

Llanbister is nestled within the Cambrian mountains and over looks the River Ithon meandering through the valley below the hotel. This is a great location for touring, walking, with Offa’s Dyke and Glyndwr's Way close by.

In addition we can also accommodate Stabling adjacent to the Log cabins.
