Bowness is a fantastic base in which to discover what the Lake District has to offer, whether it be walking, on a bus tour, or by guided excursion. We will be happy to help you plan your days and have a whole selection of ideas for you and your family to get the most out of your visit to the Lakes. Our guest house is also next door to the famous World of Beatrix Potter attraction. At present we are upgrading our rooms - five double rooms and two spacious family rooms. At Monties we also have a cafe which is open all day. Why not sample a delicious breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, or homemade cakes. If you fancy a glass of wine, we can offer you a fantastic wine list to choose from! Bowness has a real holiday feel in the evenings; there is a wide range of places to eat from gastro pubs, Chinese, Italian and lots of good pubs serving local ales - you really will be spoilt for choice. We can also cater for corporate parties, ladies only groups, and tailormade weekends to suit: whether it be sailing, walking, a cookery course or a spa day, let us plan the perfect weekend for you and your guests.
