Linton Laithe Bed and Breakfast is part of Grange Farm in the centre of Linton - in - Craven, which is the home of Jonny, Shirley and Pat Metcalfe and their family. The family has farmed at Linton since 1932, Grange Farm is a working farm of dairy cattle and sheep. The name ‘Laithe’ comes from antiquity meaning barn. The picture on the right is of one of the family helping to deliver milk by horse and cart. Linton is near Grassington, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and famous for its Music Festivals and Dickensian Christmas Markets and yet only eight miles from Skipton. It is one of the most unspoiled picture postcard villages in Wharfedale. Away from busy tourist spots, it is the ideal place to relax and enjoy walking, the water falls and the beautiful countryside that surrounds Linton Laithe. Although small, Linton is of outstanding beauty with a reputable inn called The Fountaine Inn serving quality meals, real ales and interesting wines. Five Luxury Rooms of a high standard of comfort and decor are available.
