Kinlochlaich House is a Scottish country house of the 17th and 18th centuries set in one of the most magnificent areas of the Scottish Highlands. Its own beautiful grounds include a fine walled garden where you will find the Scotland's leading specialist Garden Plant Centre. There is a tennis court, table tennis pavilion and rope swings for children. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available in season.
The Appin area includes the picturesque village of Port Appin and the romantic Castle Stalker, on its own little island. There are opportunities locally for walking, cycling, riding, water sports, fishing, bird watching. Ben Nevis and the mountains of Glencoe are nearby. Fort William and Oban offer holiday shopping, golf, swimming, whisky distilleries and ferry cruises to the islands of Mull, Iona, Staffa and beyond.
You can choose to stay in the self contained apartments in the country house or in one of two cottages in the traditional buildings adjacent to the main house. NEW The Tree House, a unique octagonal eco building for a special holiday. The properties sleep from 2 to 5 people and are open all year. Short breaks and off-season rates are available through Autumn, Winter and Spring.
