This very comfortable cottage is built into the hillside, taking full advantage of its 'upside down' design to command outstanding views over the River Wye and the surrounding countryside. Originally the village blacksmith's forge, it now provides the ideal base for exploring the beautiful Wye Valley. Hereford, with its glorious cathedral and famous Mappa Mundi, and Ross-on-Wye, a centre for watersports, are both under 8 miles away. This is a wonderful area for walking and bird watching, with fishing and golf nearby. Shop 5 miles. Numerous country pubs serving good food are within easy reach.
