Quiet country lanes afford lovely cycling and walking, and bird watching enthusiasts will delight in the variety of birds found in the nearby Norfolk Broads, where visitors can enjoy river boat trips, sailing, canoeing and a wide variety of attractions including Bewilderwood, an imaginative, outdoor 50 acre treehouse adventure park. Day boat hire is available in the market towns of Loddon (3 miles) and Beccles whilst historic Bungay boasts antique shops and castle ruins to explore. Lovely sandy beaches at Southwold and Walberswick on the Suffolk Heritage Coast and Norwich, with its cathedral, castle, fine shopping, galleries and museums, are all within easy reach. Golf and fishing can be enjoyed nearby. Shop/post office 1 mile, pub serving food 3 miles.
