The Coach House is an unusually stylish and relaxed guest house in the heart of the English Lake District. Our aim is to provide four star quality on a small scale, for visitors who want comfortable, contemporary interiors and quality breakfasts, but without the formality and expense of a top hotel. We have a ‘4 star’ rating from the AA. We are a non-smoking establishment.
We have five letting rooms all en suite which are beautifully decorated, with brightly coloured walls, bedspreads and blinds, some with antique furniture. Most have cream cast-iron beds. The en-suite shower-rooms echo this mix of the modern and traditional, with high quality showers, black and white floor tiles, chrome fittings and period enamelware.
