The Florence is a beautiful Victorian Guest House built in 1870, situated in the heart of Whitby opposite Pannet Park home of Whitby Museum & Art Gallery with Whitby's last Spa in it's back yard it is steeped in history. We have endeavoured to cater for your every need in our en suite rooms, all are clean comfortable & elegant have central heating, hospitality trays, colour TVs . Ironing facilities, hairdryers and Wi Fi are also also available. Two of our rooms are on the ground floor so are particularly suited to guests with impaired mobility. We are a very short walk from the train & bus station, shops, bars & harbour so no big hills to climb! We are renowned for our extensive menu and delicious locally sourced breakfast, choose what you want and vary it each dayWe are a non smoking establishment, dogs are welcome by arrangement. We cater for vegetarian & diabetic diets and any other dietary need if notified. 2 night minimum stay weekends, August, festivals & bank holidaysThe Florence is the perfect base from which to enjoy all that the historic town of Whitby has to offer.
