Beckmead House is ideally situated just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Windermere & just 10 minutes walk from Lake Windermere. We are a family run guest house with quality accommadation, and a relaxed friendly atmosphere. We have single, double and twin-bedded rooms, they are en-suite or with private showers, all are centrally heated, tastefully decorated and have colour t.v, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers and a range of toiletries. Breakfast at Beckmead is something special. There is a choice of fuit juices, various cereals,our freshly prepared yogurt or fresh fruit, followed by a traditional English breakfast of bacon, egg, local sausage, tomato, mushrooms etc. we also cater for vegetarians and special diets. For the comfort and safety of all our guests Beckmead House is non smoking.
