Ten minutes from the A1 Spital Hill is a wonderfully relaxing stopover. Hosts Ann and Robin Clough understand the needs of the weary traveller for peace and a tranquil atmosphere.

Cooking (and eating) is a passion and the food is all home baked including many types of hand made bread. Menus reflect the delights discovered over years of travelling and eating. A short wine list offers a varied and affordable selection.

Sparkling lamps and antique furniture abound. Bedrooms have 5' double and 3' single beds. Bathrooms are spacious, warm and full of extras including bathrobes.

Spital Hill is a Wolsey Lodge and Awarded both an Egg and a Pie excellent breakfasts and dinners by the AA. Two double rooms with bathrooms ensuite; one twin bedded room with a private bathroom.
