The Kenton Theatre is the fourth oldest working theatre in the country and celebrated its 200th birthday in November 2005. Staffed entirely by volunteers, the 240-seat theatre offers a variety of amateur and professional productions throughout the year, ranging from drama, musicals, concerts and touring productions to an annual pantomime, drama festival and youth festival.
