The Cottage is a very peaceful and private place. When you stay with us you can be sure of a warm welcome and know that you will be our only guests - whether you are single, a couple or a family. We believe that your stay should be special. We are surrounded by gardens and the beautiful Somerset countryside making this is a wonderful location for romantic couples. We have a very good country pub within walking distance which provides a very good lunch and evening menu including a vegetarian selection. The Cottage is only three miles from the historic town of Glastonbury, famous for its connections with King Arthur, the Holy Grail and Joseph of Aramathea. Nearby landmarks include Glastonbury Tor and the Abbey ruins, Cadbury Castle and Wells Cathedral. Glastonbury town is full of a fascinating selection of shops and restaurants which cater for all different tastes and budgets. We are also very close to the Glastonbury Festival site at Pilton as well as the Bath and West Showground at Shepton Mallet.

Guest accommodation is provided in a totally self-contained suite and comprises hallway, one king-size double bedroom with TV, one en-suite bathroom and shower and one en-suite sitting room with TV which can be easily converted to accommodate one or two people in single beds. This room is ideal for children and provides separate accommodation from the parent’s bedroom. All of these rooms are situated on the same floor in a self-contained apartment.

Breakfast, which is served in your own private dining room overlooking a typical English garden, includes fruit juice, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts and cereals plus a diverse menu to suit all tastes and requirements. Special dietary requirements can be requested when making your booking. Local produce is used wherever possible including potatoes, tomatoes and homemade jams from our organic garden. Fresh eggs are locally sourced and our bread is obtained from the famous Glastonbury bakers " Burns the Bread ".
