This beautiful Cotswold stone farmhouse dates back to the early 1600's. It has been sympathetically renovated to provide guests with every modern comfort. The spacious bedrooms in the main house all have en-suite bath or shower room and central heating; tea and coffee making facilities; colour television and direct dial telephones.
Your hosts, Barbara and Gordon Meekings like visitors to think of themselves as 'guests in a traditional country house'. You are given your own front door key and are encouraged to come and go as you please. There's a complimentary tray of sherry, and guests are also welcome to use the comfortable library as a sitting room.
Close at hand, in the immaculately converted barn, are two more en-suite rooms. Upstairs is the Hayloft, a luxury double. Downstairs is the Bull Pen, which has been specially equipped to ensure that every comfort is available for disabled guests.
Leasow House is superbly located for touring in the Cotswolds. It is well placed for visiting Shakespeare's Stratford; the pomp of Winston Churchills birthplace, Blenheim Palace; Warwick and Sudeley Castles, wonderful country walks, the Cathedral cities of Gloucester and Worcester, and the gardens of Hidecote and Kiftsgate. Nearer to hand you'll find several fine restaurants, and a good many country pubs. Leasow House makes the perfect base.
