The Eltermere was built in 1756 and overlooks Lake Elterwater an area of fantastic natural beauty at the foot of the Langdale Valley. Some of the very best walking is from our very doorstep, gentle or challenging, including the Langdale Pikes, take your pick! Within a few minutes walk is the Langdale Country Leisure Club, with Swimming Pool, Gym, Squash and Beauty Salon. We can, upon request, obtain a Free Leisure Pass, please bring your own towels. Please note there is a MINIMUM STAY of 2 NIGHTS AT ALL TIMES.
