Although the front of the building is Georgian, parts of The White Hart date back to the12th century and it was a coaching inn from the 14th Century. Positioned in Stow-on-the-Wold’s famous Square, a massive renovation project uncovered two priest holes, a 17th century and two Victorian fireplaces, all hidden away for decades. Your host Paul has been a chef for many years cooking for royalty and British celebrities. His menu contains unfussy, uncomplicated dishes focusing on fresh local ingredients. This boutique style inn has five stylish bedrooms all en suite, each finished to a high standard. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and very friendly.

Brit Quote:
They talk of a man betraying his country, his friends, his sweetheart. There must be a moral bond first. All a man can betray is his conscience. - Joseph Conrad
