In beautiful Sussex countryside you will find the Old Ship Free-house.
Located on the A26 between Lewes and Uckfield this Family run 17th Century
Grade-II listed Inn is the perfect place to relax with food served from 12
to 9.30 daily. With a charming oak-beamed non-smoking restaurant and large
well-tended gardens you will find the perfect setting to enjoy a meal from
the extensive home cooked menu.
Freshly made customer favourites include Scotch char-grilled steaks,
homemade burgers and a selection of tex-mex fajitas. Seasonal classics
dishes are available on the daily specials board. A daily market-fresh fish selection may include Halibut cooked in a creamy wine and grape sauce, grilled Dover Sole and Monkfish cooked in Malibu and lime. Exotic game fish such as Swordfish, Marlin, and Kingfish are often available.
Sunday lunch is a special event with four roasts in addition to the
extensive daily menu.
