The Royal Oak, Potton‚s oldest pub, is located in the historic market town of Potton, close to Sandy and Biggleswade. Potton lies between Bedford and Cambridge, and is easily accessible from the A1, and the M11. The Royal Oak is the perfect traditional old English pub retreat where you will find a warm welcome, real ales, fine wines, and great food. Taken over in September 2006 by Ruth and Anthony Glynn, the Royal Oak has been returned to a thriving family run pub and restaurant with a reputation for offering well kept real ales, superb freshly prepared food, and excellent service. The pub is a grade 2 listed building, and includes a traditional bar complete with oak beams and a real fire, a beer garden with adjoining petanque piste, and a dining area with a relaxing, informal atmosphere. The Royal Oak is open all day every day (from 3pm on Mondays), with fresh coffee and tea available from 11:30am. The Royal Oak is non smoking throughout. If you are looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a quiet drink in a relaxed setting, The Royal Oak is the perfect choice. We hope that our passion for superb service and great food will make your visit to The Royal Oak both enjoyable and memorable
