The Fountain Inn is a 17th century rural coaching Inn popular with locals and tourists alike, we serve freshly cooked meals to order and our well stocked bar always has a selection of real ales The inn is situated just on the border of the Wye Valley in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Whether you are travelling on Business or Holiday, the Fountain Inn is the ideal place to stay being only two miles from Tintern Abbey and just 15 minutes drive to the picturesque towns of Chepstow and Monmouth, with easy access to Abergavenny, Ross On Wye, Symmonds Yat, Bristol, Glousester, Newport and Cardiff, with close links to the M48, M4 and M5 Motorways.

The Fountain Inn dates back to 1611 and has a charm rarely seen these days having stone floors and open fireplaces, outside we have a beer garden to relax in on the warmer days along with a large fish pond, the inn is very popular with our very friendly locals and visitors alike due to the fine beers and real ales on offer along with a good selection of fresh food which our resident chef lovingly prepares and cooks to order and where possible sources all our produce locally, guests may eat in our restaurant or the Inn.
