Set in an 18th-century timber building, The Golden Pheasant Country Inn is located in the picturesque Ceiriog Valley. The historic town of Chirk, with its medieval castle is a 10-minute drive away and the Grade I listed Pontcysyllte Aquaduct, a World Heritage Site, is 15 minutes’ drive from the hotel. Scenic walks, bicycle rides and horse rides can be enjoyed in the countryside surrounding The Golden Pheasant. The small town of Llangollen can be reached after a 20-minute drive, or a 10-minute drive along country lanes and over the mountain. In the evenings guests can dine in the Pheasant restaurant with views of the garden. Pre-dinner drinks can be enjoyed in the bar or in the guest lounge which overlooks the garden and the Ceiriog valley.
