The Wellington is a charming country pub and restaurant, located in the village of Wellington just 5 miles north of Hereford.
A commitment to using the best fresh, local and seasonal ingredients and a passionate team of chefs cooking with care and imagination, has helped create a strong reputation for unpretentious menus and some of the best food available in the county. Meat is bought directly from farmers while fruit and vegetables come either from neighbouring farms or from the pub’s own walled vegetable garden.
The Wellington has recently picked up a string of awards, including three consecutive Pub of the Year titles in the ‘Flavours of Herefordshire’ Awards, as well as Alastair Sawday’s ‘Local, Seasonal & Organic Produce’ Award, Pub Roast of the Year, and two prestigious PubChef Food Excellence Awards.
Open for lunch every day except Monday, and dinner every day (except Sundays in the winter).
