Nestling in the Cotswold countryside and close to the historic Fosse Way , The Hare and Hounds Inn is perfectly situated for the many attractive towns and villages of Gloucestershire and beyond. Historic Cirencester is our nearest town, Cheltenham, home of the Cheltenham Hunt Festival, is less than half an hour away by car and Northleach, Bibury and Bourton on the Water are even closer. In our neighbouring village is the National Trust's Chedworth Roman Villa. Built of mellow Cotswold Stone, The historic Hare and Hounds is a traditional country inn, with oak fireplaces containing original bread ovens. On warm days guests can dine in the garden or at anytime in the orangerie or one of the three relaxed but elegant dining areas of the main pub itself.

However, the real attractive of this country inn is its menu with delicious home-cooked food and a daily ‘specials' board and our award-wining chef Gerry Ragosa and his partner Angela Howe take great care to make sure guests enjoy their visit.
