Awarded English Country Hotel of the Year 2009 by the Good Hotel Guide, Lindeth Fell is only a mile from bustling Bowness up on the hills overlooking Lake Windermere and the Coniston Fells.
The setting is a magical one of tranquility and amazing views over the Thomas Mawson designed gardens. The family owned hotel has many accolades including a three star gold award from the Tourist Board and 10/10 for service from the Sunday Times inspector.
Many bedrooms have lake views and all have en-suite bathrooms with good power showers. The three Master bedrooms are very spacious with kingsized beds and every modern amenity. Free wifi connection is available in the majority of rooms. Dinner in one of the three lake view dining rooms is AA rosette standard and the wine list has been carefully chosen.
There are spacious comfortable lounges with log fires and a wide terrace on the west side of the house for morning coffee and afternoon cream teas. We are out of town so country walks can begin from our door, and it is only a 20 minute walk to nearby Bowness.
This year in particular we have value for money very much in mind. Look at our web site for special offers and further information.
