Aberdeen Art Gallery houses an important art collection ranging from 18th century portraits by Raeburn, Hogarth, Ramsay and Reynolds, to powerful 20th century works by Paul Nash, Ben Nicholson and Francis Bacon. The collection also includes paintings by Impressionists such as Monet, Pissaro, Sisley and Bonnard. The Gallery also features a rich and diverse decorative arts collection and hosts an exciting programme of special exhibitions and events throughout the year.
