More Information

Shannon Court Hotel is a family run, charming Victorian house hotel, situated within a few minutes walk of the town centre of Harrogate, with its International Conference Centre.
The present accommodation was built in 1896 on the site of the original Dragon Hotel, where William Powell Frith, a well-known artist of the time, lived with his family.
Shannon Court borders on the 'Stray' in an area known as High Harrogate, which was once the centre of Victorian life in Harrogate, and the present owners - Kath & Bob Evans - continue to work at retaining the original character of Shannon Court.
Harrogate town has many and varied facilities, as might be expected in a major conference town, and makes an ideal touring base for the Yorkshire Dales, the North Yorkshire Moors National Parks and the many fascinating buildings of historical note found in the surrounding region.
