The only colony of mute swans open to the public in the world. Established by Benedictine monks in 1393. See over 600 to 1,000 friendly swans on site at any one time. Mass feeding of herd at 12pm and 4pm daily. Shire horse and cart service. Ugly duckling trail. Audio-visual show. Coffee shop and gift shop. Baby swans hatching mid May to end June. Open 7 days 10am - 6pm. Last admission 5pm. Free car parking.
