A traditional 17th century inn located in the historic town of Bridgnorth, the Hen and Chickens is a family run public house with homely en suite accommodation. Bridgnorth town centre is just a 1 minute walk away. With a large cobbled courtyard and outdoor seating area, there is a good selection of lagers, real ales and ciders on offer.

We are also ideally situated to visit the castle ruins, museum, cliff railway and the Severn Valley railway, which operates vintage trains on a beautiful 16 mile stretch of riverside line. Hen and Stag parties of 8 or less are always welcome at the Hen and Chickens. Our inn is also ideally situated in High Town for fishermen wishing to spend a day on the River Severn in Low Town; free storage of fishing gear included. Relax at our bar after a round of golf at Bridgnorth Golf Club, just a mile away.
