At Glenaldor House we aim to ensure you have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Glenaldor is a lovely and spacious Victorian house built in the 1860's, it is a listed building and sits in a beautiful spot in a conservation area. We are next door to where J.M Barrie creator and writer of Peter Pan lived whilst at school in Dumfries.

Whether you are visiting Dumfries for work, business, a short break or a longer stay, Glenaldor House is your perfect base. Although we are just off the main road which gives us a quiet and secluded location, we are fortunate to be a mere 3 minutes for the train station and less than a 10 minute stroll to the town centre.
