The oldest part of the building was originally the local stone built village pub dating from the end of the 18th century. The premises have been extensively developed by owners, Chris and Sue Kewley using traditional materials to create a harmonious synthesis of old and new. The menu revolves around the seasons. Ingredients are sourced from all over the country. Scotch beef, Cornish lamb and local game among other things are all used extensively. The ambience at Roade House is comfortable and relaxed, with friendly and efficient service. All our staff are committed to making your time with us as enjoyable as possible whether you are looking for a romantic meal to remember, an important business dinner or just a fun night out.
