The Old Red Lion hotel dates back to its 18th Century days and was originally an old farm house. The lodges offer comfortable accommodation in a charming setting. There are 12 comfortably furnished, en suite rooms, including ground floor rooms, some with disabled facilities. They are all situated in attractive buildings around the main building and restaurant, allowing for a more tranquil stay. The bar area has been recently refurbished, providing comfort seating through out with leather settees and chairs. It has a good village pub atmosphere here and it hosts live entertainment on a regular basis.
A good selection of wines, spirits and cask conditioned beers are available. A bar menu is available at lunchtime from 12:00 to 14:30 and 18:00 to 21:00. The restaurant is open from 18:00 until 21:00 Monday to Saturday evenings.
