In times past, Woodbridge was one of the country's more important trading centres. With the amount of horse-drawn traffic passing through the town, the hotel became the jewel in the crown of numerous local coaching inns. The 500 year old hotel is close to Woodbridge town square. Our timbered Restaurant offers an excellent menu, complemented by a choice of wines. The bar serves a selection of traditional ales and good bar meals. What's so special about us? The hotel's 21 en-suite bedrooms are comfortable, attractive, and all have full facilities. The hotel has ground floor rooms. It also boasts a refurbished four poster and feature bedrooms.

The Crown is a rarity among old Coach Inns, far too many of which have been over modernized. The hotel has been refurbished modestly, with the intention of preserving the romance of it's coaching past, alongside the comforts and conveniences that are demanded today.
