Directed by Nicholas Arkell, Gressingham Manor Antiques provides an exquisite collection of fine antique furniture.
Nicholas Arkell has over 25 years experience in antiques with an enviable reputation for quality and service. Last year saw Nick voted runner up Antiques Dealer of the Year 2004, as voted within the antiques trade, this high praise indeed and is indicative of his standing within the antiques trade.
Such is Nicholas's expertise and knowledge that he became one of the youngest vettors at antiques fairs across the country including some of the largest fairs such as those held at Birmingham NEC.
Nicholas started his career in antiques in 1978, working for Hampshires of Dorking. Nicholas left Hampshires in 2000, subsequently setting up a new company Arkell Antiques of Dorking which he successfully ran.
Nick has now started his own business, Gressingham Manor Antiques with his partner Paula Cope. With a large client base built on personal reputation this new venture has taken of with alarming speed and success. This new company formation has enabled Nick to work in a more dynamic way and he is able to find items on request that are of the fine quality his customers have come to expect. Private viewings of furniture are available upon request.
Nick's stock can be viewed at Woburn Abbey and at a number of fairs around the country.
