Even though there was an eight year time span between my visits, Pauline made us feel completely at home as if we had never left. The first time I arrived with my 18 yr. old son, Sean. We arrived so tired and hungry and very late. There were few rooms available in the town and how fortunate we were to have found the Crossways and Pauline. I fly with my children (now adults) to the UK every 5 years or so and intend to revisit next year. The highlight of our stay is always Castle Howard and the Crossways. Quiet, comfortable, great food, and fabulous hospitality. Our home away from home. Thank you Pauline, we are looking forward to our next visit.
