we were not at all impressed with this site. the staff were more interested in looking after their children, the lodge we were first allocated had faulty doors so we were moved to a caravan. the heating did not work at first but then they fixed it,the drainage system pipes underneath the caravan had come apart and all the sewage was flowing out onto the ground, they took four days to fix it. the entertainment that was advertised was changed at no notice to accomodate football fans that were not even residents. yes, the park is open to the public who dont have to pay but you do. think twice before going to this camp. saying that, the only good thing is the location, arbroath is a lovely seaside town with lovely walks along the beach and you must visit lunnan bay to see the cleanist beach in britan.also, there is a fantastic little pub/restaurant on the front called tutties neuk, you have to give this a visit, the staff are great, and the food is excellent. enjoy.
