Arrived at 1.00pm to find the pub closed. Eventually, after lunch in another pub, the manager was contacted and we booked in. Later he cooked dinner, even though food was not usually served on Monday evenings. The rooms are rather basic, diy wooden the fittings were coming off the wall. The stairs, landing, and the two bedrooms I saw, needed new carpets, as they were marked and generally filthy. This tattiness compared unfavourably with the bar, which was modern and stylish.The bedroom photos on the web site do not match the reality!
