The rooms were very spacious yet basic the door was locked at tea time and no ans on the stated phone number. The staff were really freindly lovely people but the owner was a very different story altogether. The rooms although spacious are way overpriced but in a good location, you cannot park but if the owner has a permit you get one if there are none left you have to pay charges on the car park. One of our party had a permit the other didnt recieve one. If the guest house changed hands I would most definatly return but until then no chance!!!! This lady should not work with people.

We booked this guest house through tourist informtion centre and paid deposit of £16.50. We were expected to check-in at 5pm and was told to call the guest house if we were to be late. We called and left a message on the answering machine to let "Ms Debra Hampsey" know that we would be late since nobody pick up the phone, when we got there before 6pm, there was no one pick up the phone or answering the door for hours. We left almost 10 messages and would be much appreciated if a phone call would be made from Ms Hampsey's side before or after and we did see her cafe and b+b were both opened the very next morning. We were a party of 9 with 5 children and eventually we had to give up standing at her front door and ran around for two hours to find other place to stay but had sacrificed our whole evening. My SUGGESTION IS 'DON'T GO THERE'
