My wife and i are currently registered at your surgery. On the 9th October my wife had her 36 week consultation with her midewife (Pat) scheduled at the surgery for 14:10 -Tracy Jansen. Upon her arriving at the surgery she discovered that the surgery was closed due to training of staff to improve service. (notice on door) Nobody from the surgery bothered to contact us to reschedule an appointment and no letter was received either. Both of us work in London so this costs my wife to book a day off work as holiday to attend the appointment, she had to also walk in the pouring rain to discover that her appointment would not be honoured. Although we appreciate that additional training is always required we would like to bring this to your attention to help improve the service your staff are providing. Furthermore, i feel it necessary to add that this is not the first time that this has happened. Previously my wife was scheduled an midwife appointment by one of your receptionist for a Wednesday only to discover that the midwife only goes to the clinic on Tuesdays. Another days holiday was booked to attend this appointment which was wasted. We would appreciate it if you could follow this up with your staff to ensure that it does not occur again as it is a great inconvenience and causes alot of frustration. Kind Regards, Craig Jansen
