Down in Bury St Edmunds visiting family took my disabled wife over the festive period. Opened the door and was offered a two seater in the front window area. Waiter moved chair and gestured for me then he took notice of my wife and quickly closed the offered table and directed us to a table right round the back away from the public. Never felt such a second class citizen. My wife is disabled but still enjoys a curry. My wife has movement problems and split her drink (large coke) while the waiter was at the table. He just turned and walked away leaving her embarrassed and me to clean the table. We were left with the table dripping wet while eating our main course. Spoke to the 'manager' at the end of the meal and explained I was not happy with the overall customer experience as my wife and I had been felt to feel like 2nd class citizens. NO APOLOGY - Just fobbed off. - WILL NEVER RETURN Starter Chicken Pakora - 4 PIECES RUBBISH portion size Chicken Poori (pure, on the menu) = BLAND Main Chicken Rogan Josh = 5 pieces of chicken = BLAND, GREASY, (No heat all) Garlic Chilli Chicken = 6 pieces of chicken = BLAND, Same as above with a couple of chilli's thrown in Desert Toffee Vanilla Icecream - Frozen Solid - but had been microwaved for seconds to start the melting process. Was approached during the meal and asked if everything was okay - pointed out about the portion sizes and blandness of the curries. No replacements offered and usual fobbed off. 42 quid for blandness and crap service. Visited January 2012

This is definately the best curry house in bury st edmunds. delicious food, clean and welcoming. waiters very friendly, but Jim i agree with you too. Our Chicken Ceylons are always upgraded to a tikka ceylon!! Also the chutney trays offered with poppadoms come at a price we didnt expect. However, it doesnt stop us visiting at least once a month. My brother Rich cant keep out of the place since he discovered it!!!!! Keep up the good work .

very good food but i agree with Jim Stevens comment. The waiters are always trying to suggest the the customer upgrades whatever dish they've ordered to a "masala" to make it extra tender which is rubbish. but what they dont tell you is it is a £1 extra. Shame really cos the restaurant is probably the best indian in "bury st edmunds" otherwise

The food here is good. The service could be alot better. The waitors seem to be so pre-occupied with suggestive selling it makes the experience a little uncomfortable.

Delicious Indian food in Bury St. Edmunds. Always good food and service. Ask for the Mango Lassi to drink. You won't regret it!
